What does Saudi Arabia and other countries severing ties with Iran mean?

Hard liners in both countries are preparing for all out war. However, it is still unlikely that all out war between these countries will occur for a variety of reasons. But, it might be 30 years or more before diplomatic relations resume between all these countries.

It also means:
1. Assad likely is going to stay in power because diplomatic resolution of Syria isn't going to happen now.
2. All Trade between these countries will cease even though black market trade will continue with smugglers.
3. Oil prices will rise slowly or quickly for a variety of reasons.
4. Iran and Russia might blockade Saudi and other Sunni Oil Tankers of countries in the Middle East.
5. This might also increase oil prices which would economically help ISIS, Iran, Russia and all Oil nations and Oil Companies and Oil Drillers and Shale oil miners here on earth.
6. Many more millions likely will die throughout the region over the next 30, 50, or 100 years in this ever increasing sectarian war between Sunnis and Shias in the middle East ongoing. Millions and millions more walking wounded from conflicts will migrate to wherever they can to survive this mess.
