However, there are countries all over the world where you can teach. Some countries will hire you just with a college degree from the U.S. in literally anything. Other countries might want you to have a Degree in Teaching or English to hire you. Also, jobs as tutors of English often pay enough to survive in these countries too. However, if you are saddled with Student loans from going to college just make sure you can pay off loans while actually living in a foreign country while working there.
Though in many countries it is very inexpensive to live, it is also true that what they might pay you won't go very far in paying off your student loans either. So, be sure you research the cost of living versus what they are going to pay you and be familiar with the politics and government of that country before you go to. And research how safe you will be there alone. Also, take into consideration how you would do without family or friends there? Are you someone who makes friends easily or a loner?
All these things can be researched in places like youtube.com where often other people who have done or are now doing this sort of thing do video blogs about what it is like to do this in specific countries. Often you can find out what you want to know or even email the people who make these video blogs trying to help others pay off their student loans in this way. Be sure to try to find someone who works in the specific country or area or town you want to work in so you can have a better idea of what to do. Usually is it better to get your job lined up before you buy a plane ticket to go so you don't wind up there with no job or money to come back here in an emergency. So, if you are going to do this plan ahead so it is a solution and doesn't just make your life worse. Always plan for any contingency so you can survive whatever happens.
