The Gopher People
I wrote this a couple of years ago now and the other day my daughter's corgi had a young gopher in her mouth that reminded me of Ferd, the gopher in the above word button, "The Gopher-----" so I took the dead gopher and fed her her dinner instead and put the young gopher over the fence so my daughter's dog wouldn't eat it. But, the young gopher had a good spirit like Ferd the gopher because he reminded me of Ferd on all levels.
