Believing in God is not something you do because everyone else does that you know
Believing on God is something very personal. It is not necessarily public unless you are experiencing God's relationship with all beings in the universe. Then it is so overwhelming you might just faint from the power of it.
Believing in God is something you do when you think you are dying and instead of having a psychotic break you realize God is saving you. Or that you are dying and going to God.
I personally don't see any use at all to believe in God because others do. Because doing that is just a group lie.
Believing in God because you think you are dying is much more useful and helpful. It can keep your mind from exploding in many types of crises if you believe you will be okay whether you live or whether you die. Knowing absolutely that you will be okay and with God whether you are alive or your body is dead is powerful in a way I can't even describe with words
But, believing in God because everyone else does is just stupid and not useful. Unless God is real for you and a personal experience I don't think people should pretend they believe in God.
And if you believe in God so you can actually talk to God and get answers then that is the best relationship with God of all.
It's not like we can vote God into Existence or out of Existence by anything we do. So, unless God is a real experience for you how can any religion help you at all?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
