Most years Honolulu in August is pretty dry. However, this year the rainfall in August is 1400% of normal. My thought about this is it could be a harbinger regarding El Nino rainfall in the fall, winter or spring for the western United States. Because what we call the Pineapple express which brings our rain from the tropics starts right there in the Hawaiian Islands area to California in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
Also, all three of the Hurricanes in the Hawaii area are likely going to miss the Hawaiian islands so that is relatively good news for Hawaii.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
