The reason I think they both got hit pretty hard by it is that San Diego is still under the power of the rain storm and wind and it looks like it is on it's way to Mexico, Arizona and points east from there. Because rain is hitting from below Tijuana all the way over to Borrego Springs in the desert right now. If the dryness of the deserts doesn't suck the moisture right from the air from it. There is a lot of rain in the Las Vegas Area right now and a lot of snow in Utah and soon in Colorado or Wyoming and Montana likely from other parts of this large storm.
Also, I thought it was just heavy rain but my 19 year old daughter pointed out the hail that fell a few hours ago outside in the back yard where I live on the northern California coast. So, this made it a lot colder outside once this hail fell all over this area. Luckily I didn't have to drive anywhere tonight.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
