What would a young Buddha be doing today here on earth?
If there is a young Buddha who is either male or female between the ages of 12 and 30 or even younger they likely would have a Video Blog at youtube.com, this is my thought for the day.
However, there might be 100,000 or more young Buddhas or Tulkus doing this already with more to come.
They would be here to help save lives and minds and spirits in this new world we now live in and the ones to come.
However, my definition of a Buddha is similar to some people's definition of a Christ.
My point of view is that there is only one recognized Christ on earth at a time but that there can be Many many Buddhas here on earth at once that don't necessarily need to be recognized for what they are. They just need to be here saving the rest of us from ourselves and keeping mother earth alive and capable of sustaining life ongoing. Maybe a better word for Buddha in this case might be: "Saint".
In all this, interestingly enough, the concept of God is actually less important than the concept of Universal Kindness which is the basis of all human civilization here on earth worth keeping long term.
Some people need to believe in God as that is useful to them. Other people need to believe only in Universal Kindness as this works for them too. I believe in Both. May the Force Be With You!
