Does Putin Believe a Big War is Coming?

Do Russians Actually Believe a Big War is coming or is it just Putin who wants them to believe a big war is coming?

I started to think about this a little more. It's a little like North Korea still thinking like it is 1952 still even though it is another century now. Is Putin taking his people back to the Cold War once again?

Is this realistic, is this paranoia, is this manipulation or all of the above. However, if he convinces the average person that there is going to be another big war then likely we are entering another Cold War with Russia once again.

So, all the evidence of a new Cold War with Ukraine and Crimea and now also in Syria could be a version of that new Cold War?

It's hard to say. While everything was more hot and heavy in regard to Ukraine I thought for sure we were in a new Cold War then. However, I'm not sure exactly what is happening now because both Russia and China are each on the edge of financial ruin on various levels.

However, countries being what they are they can often make their own rules. (look at North Korea which is living in a complete fantasy). So, the same could be true of Russia and China as well.

However, then there is another way to look at this.

"There is nothing as dangerous as a wounded Tiger"

And if you view Putin as a wounded Bear or Tiger economically then almost any response from Putin might need to be seen from now on in this context.
