Incheon Airport on an island off of South Korea

My wife just asked me to spell Incheon and when I called it up on my computer to double check what I had told her I realized some of you might want to know more about Incheon Airport in South Korea near Seoul. It is about 1/2 hour by train and subway or more to Seoul from Incheon Airport which is an island off of the main peninsula off of South Korea. It is the International Aiport for all of South Korea where you likely will land first when you go there.

If you are flying to the Hawaii of South Korea which is "Jeju Island" which is a place I really love, you fly from Gimpo Airport which is in Seoul on this domestic flight. Jeju island is a tourist haven for South Koreans, Chinese and Japanese tourists and there are also Europeans and Americans there too like myself. I went once a year ago in October with friends and then again this September with my wife and friends. It is a really great place I like. It is a very very old volcanic island known for years for it's female pearl divers.

Just remember that if you are looking for "Clear Air" you are more likely to find that at Jeju Island than anywhere near Seoul because Seoul and Incheon are downwind across the large large bay from Beijing and 4400 people a day are dying from the air in Beijing.
