What is the problem with this?
Sometimes honesty with people can kill them.
In other words you can say something to someone that can cause them to kill themselves or others that you know about.
Because of this be very careful what you say to people and to think carefully what your actual motive is for saying things to people. Otherwise, you might watch suicides or homicides of people around you because you weren't smart enough to know what NOT to say to people who were already in distress.
So, even though "Honesty is the best policy" it also can result in the deaths of people.
How?
Let's say you know someone who is married who slept while married with someone else. This information might kill the parents of children. Should you reveal this information or not to people?
How wise are you? Do you know what is actually going to happen if you share this information?
This is the problem we all face when given some sorts of information in our lives. If we reveal it what is going to happen to the nearest 10 people to the ones you are sharing this with? Will their be a funeral? Will there be a maiming?
That's Right! You don't know, do you?
So, be very careful with volatile information that might get people killed.
Pray on it at the very least if you believe in God or Buddha.
