Only in as much as they would tend to allow us to Self Cull our species sort of like how national park Rangers in Yellowstone might cull the herds of Elk and Deer and Bison to make them healthier so there just aren't too many of them for the ecology.
It is my understanding that there have been Galactic National Earth Park Rangers who maintain Galactic Earth Park and have done so for at least 50,000 years already. (maybe much much longer than that.)
It would also make sense that this would have been a Galactic Park back 65 million years or longer for a variety of reasons as well, possibly even before Maldek and our ancestors had a nuclear war where the asteroid belt is now and sent a piece of their planet to kill the larger dinosaurs after that here on earth.
