Again this breaks the record of a drop since 1987. I think it's going to seasaw up and down as it goes lower. Where is the bottom?
The problem is that the bottom likely could be about 2 years from now and not now. Why?
Because the coronavirus will be with us until everyone that survives it is immune to it now. So, mass events and get togethers even schools will open and close many times during the next 2 years until mass immunity of the survivors actually happens around 2 years from now worldwide.
In some ways similar to World War II in its disruptions of society people starving to death without jobs because they cannot work for one reason or another may take as many lives worldwide or more than the virus itself.
So, there is going to be groups screaming and trying to survive this both old and young. Unfortunately, it might pit the younger people trying to economically survive versus older people trying to physically survive against one another in various ways over the next 2 years. This likely will be one of the many struggles to shape the new world we are moving into now.
Who would have thought it 1 year ago that this could be our future?
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
