Of course there are many ways to look at this but this was my experience in the 1950s and early 1960s.
Young women 12 to early 20s forced to have a child when they had no financial support or will to actually have this child. Women who had been either raped outright or date raped and still forced to have this child whether they wanted it or not.
But, that is only the beginning of horror.
Then I saw the children of these kinds of things tortured both physically and psychologically growing up. I saw the burned cigarette marks in their hands from mothers who hated them because they were forced to raise them without any money when they were just too young to financially cope at all. Or the mothers had married "literally anyone" who then abused them or raped them regularly until often they were killed or they killed their abusers and the children were put out on the streets or in foster homes where often they were raped repeatedly and the cycle continued unabated ongoing.
Until legal abortions existed here in the U.S. this is what actually happened on a daily basis everywhere.
It isn't just about the child in the womb. It is also about all the rest of the lives it ruins if there isn't enough will and financial independence or know how.
Children raising children without financial support creates ongoing horror stories that never end in many people's lives worldwide.
IN most of the world in 3rd world nations it is still exactly like how I outlined it here.
IF you have seen all this up close and personal in the lives of friends as a child it just makes you want to throw up.
