I finally got my hyperlink template to work

How?

First I put my page in HTML not Compose here at blogger.com

Then I went down not to the first illustration which appears to be a picture rather than a demonstration of actual code. However, if you go down to where it says "EXAMPLE" and then copy and paste it into a html mode instead of a compose mode here at blogger.com (if you are a blogger here) you can then create your own links or word buttons here at your site. The first one is a little time consuming but once you have it working through constant testing until it works you then have a template where you can create links to wherever you want those links to go.

The problem that ending the legacy software at blogger.com created for me was a difficult one to overcome when the turned the Cadillac operating system here into a very simplistic VW 1960s Bug type of system.

I understand now why they did this. It was because of speed of loading which is much faster now. However, if you don't have access to links to share your most read articles it can severely reduce your readership worldwide because most people don't know how to use URLs unless they have some kind of technical background like I do.

So, even though it is very time consuming I might try to create links using the HREF formula you will find here where it says example (which can be copied and pasted to your HTML page (but don't be in compose) when you do this or it won't work at all. Compose is your Auto-encoder which automatically codes everything for you like a robot.

Here is where I found this:

To make a hyperlink in an HTML page, use the <a> and </a> tags, which are the tags used to define the links. The <a> tag indicates where the hyperlink starts and the </a> tag indicates where it ends. Whatever text gets added inside these tags, will work as a hyperlink. Add the URL for the link in the <a href=” ”>.Jan 18, 2018
