Osterholm: "Between now and the holidays, the US will see numbers "much, much larger than even the 67 to 75,000 cases," (per day)

Osterholm highlighted the 70,000 cases of Covid-19 reported on Friday, which matched the largest number seen during the peak of the pandemic. Between now and the holidays, the US will see numbers "much, much larger than even the 67 to 75,000 cases," he said.

As I reported before in previous article 70,000 a day new cases gives between 1750 and 3500 deaths per day eventually depending upon how hospital care is where those people are. However, if hospitals are overwhelmed with no beds available then all bets are off because then deaths could move upward to 10 percent or higher for that day because of no hospital care available soon enough to save those patients lives.
