Smoke is beginning to dissipate here in Mt. Shasta

This morning is the clearest day since I arrived Tuesday night. Most of the smoke when I looked at the smoke map of the U.S. was coming from the fire between Mt. Shasta and Eureka in the Trinity Mountains. But, the wind directions have now changed so we aren't getting the smoke right now which is great because it allows me to open some windows and get some fresh air before it gets too hot to do that today here. Today once again it is supposed to be around 88 degrees Fahrenheit. So, we are definitely having an Indian Summer here in the beginning of Fall. However, at night for example, tonight it will be 48 degrees so we are seeing the lows go lower now even if they days can be quite hot. By a week from today the low will be 42 degrees which shows that colder weather (at least at night is coming slowly to Mt. Shasta now) (After all it snows here and we ski here later in the Year usually).
