Why Americans and Europeans are more susceptible to Coronavirus than some Asian Cultures

 Freedom is a two edged sword. The Rugged individualism that created both Europe and the U.S. and Canada goes against us in a plague or pandemic. It doesn't extinct us completely because I think the death rate from coronavirus is somewhere between 2.5% and 5% here in the U.S. and Europe. But, it greatly messes with economics because of the fear of death it creates in everyone. So, though only 2 to 5% of the U.S. that contracts Coronavirus are actually going to die from it, it still scares the hell out of the rest of us and changes our economy completely in the short run.

On one level I understand why Trump is trying to pretend it's ending even though it's not to try to keep money flowing into his personal coffers more than anything else. I don't think he really gives a damn about the national economy or whether anyone in the U.S. lives or dies though. So, in this sense he is as selfish as a man can get and the opposite of a patriot. Trump has demonstrated he has no idea about the courage of men who sacrificed their lives for America at all and this is well documented at this point.

So, he has no loyalty to anyone but himself in the end which is why he is willing for as many Americans as possible to die from coronavirus (seemingly including himself and his whole family) which seems pretty crazy to me at this point too.

So, now we have lost 16 trillion dollars or 90% of the entire economy so far, simply because Trump won't take coronavirus seriously in a way that actually could have saved most of that economy from ruin.

So, the same rugged individualism that created both Europe and the U.S. is what is killing both cultures now through the coronavirus. Even though this is temporary it allows China to get an economic leg up on Europe and the U.S. and in the short and long run this could be a complete disaster for the whole world of human beings eventually.

In this sense Trump is a complete disaster for Freedom here on earth and the ability to have democratic cultures be functional long term. Because without economic power and freedom all the advantages of Democracies will slowly or quickly go away.

Even now, China is creating a war time situation between China and India and India is digging a tunnel under the Himalayas to wage war against China eventually and 46 Chinese and Indian Soldiers have already died in this border conflict this summer on the Indian- Chinese border.
