The stock market worldwide does not like unexpected new variables. Stability in the stock market requires few little surprises and no big ones. So, the drop could be temporary or more permanent depending upon the results of studies on the Omicron Variant out of South Africa now. The South Africans were kind enough to the world to tell us that this was a bad variant so at least we were warned. Now the research facilities all over the earth will go into high gear to try to better understand what it is and what it means for ALL mankind in the short and long term.
