Basically it is likely everywhere already just in some places more than others including likely the U.S. some places already too. So, likely within a few days some Omicron cases will be found in the U.S. too.
Because if you look at how far and wide it has already hit in places as disparate as Europe, the Middle East and Hong Kong it is already everywhere to some degree already. I heard a doctor say on CNN that in all likelihood it is already here in the U.S. whether we shut down travel to South African nations or not. Shutting down travel to southern Africa is ONLY going to buy us at most a few weeks to figure out what is actually going on with Omicron so safeguards can be put in place if necessary in the U.S. and worldwide.
