Most of the atmospheric River is now hitting between Santa Barbara and Boise, Idaho at present:

However, it is also snowing in places like Mt.  Shasta and raining or snowing from Longview, Washington to Walla Walla Washington.

I stepped outside here in Santa Barbara tonight and it's also raining lightly here as well. But, the brunt of the storm was hit north of us mostly from San Francisco to the Oregon Border with heavy Rain and snow. It's now snowing fromr Reno to Bishop and all along the Sierras as well.

I talked to a friend who lives near McCloud California on 2 1/2 acres. He says he still has 10 feet of snow and in order to see out at all he has to go to his top story of his house to do that the last 3 months now. His statement was: "This is Awful" because I don't think he has ever had this much snow to deal with for this long into the year at around 4000 feet where he lives. Another friend told me he had 10 hours of shoveling snow on his property to do because of the 34 inches of snow coming down there in Mt. Shasta City this week also. Mt. Shasta city area averages around 3500 to 3800 feet in altitude. So, the higher up you are the more snow you are dealing with including all along Interstate 5 from about Dunsmuir to past Edgewood at the very least.
