Developing your higher senses could be a matter of life or death worldwide right now. It is quite possible that 1/2 of the present population of earth will be gone by 2050. How would they die?
Mostly from starvation worldwide caused by Global Climate changes but also Autonomous robots of the Air, Land and seas from the U.S., Europe, Russia and China mainly. Though there will also be soldiers I think you will see less and less soldiers where people are actually killed a lot.
But, the biggest death toll will be from tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, flooding, and droughts worldwide which will cause either death directly or later after them from starvation. Another one will be blizzards people freeze and starve in worldwide.
However, it's important to note that if you have wood to burn and food to eat and a shelter you can survive Blizzards even if it gets really cold.
What kills more people than anything is extreme heat. Why?
Because when your brain begins to shut down from the heat often it is already too late to save your own life. And this is true worldwide and something to think about. So, when your brain fades out in the heat unless someone younger or healthier can save you you die.
It's quite simple. If you can't think straight you cannot save yourself or anyone else if you get too hot.
Note: This is coming from someone who has lived in the desert in temperatures from 100 degrees to 125 degrees. So, I know a lot about how to survive the heat. The first thing is don't let your brain fade out.
If you do that you survive. If you don't you don't. You are gone within a couple of hours of when your brain goes out if no one else is able to find you and save you.
