What is the biggest Key to Longevity: "I think maybe Patience is the biggest key"

If you want everything to happen (Yesterday) it's okay to feel that way. However, in reality what you want to happen may happen or not ever. So, the patience to see life as it is rather than as you want it to be might help you survive until tomorrow.

I can remember being young and not dealing with disappointment very well. I had to craft a new way of looking at my life.

For me, personally, my way forward was to become a complete opportunist in every moment going forward.

Without thinking this way i wouldn't have survived my life.

There are people who plan their lives 20 to 50 years in advance. That doesn't usually work for anyone. Not really.

No. being an opportunist in every moment of your life I find works much better. Why?

Because there are so many variables in life that you simply cannot predict. And your big 20 to 50 year plan is often destroyed within 5 to 10 years and then what are you supposed to do with yourself?

Kill yourself?

No. Adapting to every new situation becomes (at least for me) like a Chess Game which makes life more interesting at each and every stage.

Rather than trying to fit into the world you redesign the world (at least your corner of it) so your part of the world at least works for you.

Otherwise, often you are gone or dead at the first real challenge you face in life where things go a different direction than you planned.

Life is nothing if it is not completely unexpected at each and every turn.

Rather than be horrified at the unexpected, instead think "There are NO problems ONLY opportunities!"

Because a problem is only an opportunity that you haven't thought of a solution to yet.

So, make life an adventure! Seize the moment! Carpe Diem!
