What is truth?

I think at least on an individual level it is what you believe is going on inside of you and outside of you in your life at all times.

Should you speak about your truths? That's up to you. However, when I was young often sharing my truths wasn't useful at all to me and even in some cases counterproductive.

So, I think everyone needs to have their own truths (separate from any religions or people in your life to some degree).

This might seem obvious to those of you who have been drawn and quartered (metaphorically) at every age because you made the innocent mistake of telling them the "Truth" about one thing or another.

I think the best way to say this is: "Truth is a sword that cuts both ways."

Your truths will make you friends and then other people will use your Truths to try to Kill or destroy you too.

And it doesn't really matter what your truths actually are at all.

This is just a part of the sadness of being any human being here on earth.

Later:

So, unless you are strong enough and brave enough and old enough to stand up to other people's bullshit ideas in relation to your truths it might not be wise to share much with anyone until you are strong enough to do this. and even then is it really wise to do this?

Remember the person writing this is 77 years old. I share my truths now because I could be gone tomorrow or 10 or 20 years from now or I might become technologically medically somewhat immortal just like many of you might choose to be too given the speed of medical advancement especially now medical  AI is out and about.

So, think carefully when you share your Truths so someone doesn't stab you like a sword using your own truths against you (especially these days).
