Legally, you would be limiting human liability by doing this. So, for example, if people died as a result of the decisions of an AI CEO (Who is liable?). Since this hasn't been worked out legally yet I could theoretically see how thousands to millions of people could die at the hands of an AI CEO with no liability at all attributed to any single person or even Group of people.
So, until the societies of the world catch up to reality this is going to likely cost the lives of thousands to millions worldwide as this experiment in death continues (at least at present).
