understanding about Tulkus

The Tibetan Buddhist Lamas I studied with from about 1980 to the mid 2000s when Geshe Lobsang Gyatso whose specialty of initiation was Long Life White Tara told me about what a Tulku actually was passed away in the U.S.

They said this is a consciously reincarnating Living Buddha who reincarnates to liberate all beings from Suffering and keeps doing this to help all beings be free and full of compassion and happiness.

There are many details about what a Tulku actually is and there are different levels of Tulkus (some more developed than others and beings like The Dalai Lama and Karmapa are two of the most well known of these High Lamas. Another one is Ling Rinpoche who ran Tibet until the Dalai Lama was 18 years old.

I have had amazing experiences in my life ongoing where these Tulkus spin the Dharma wheel so we can all be alive longer to help the world be better with much less suffering and more happiness.

So, embarking on a path of compassion towards yourself and all other beings tends to bring out the potential Tulku in you too.

Also, a Tulku can reincarnate as a male or a female especially now women are more empowered in life than they were before the 1950s by different cultures on earth.

So, just expecting a male tulku and not a female tulku is not practical anymore because everything is changing here on earth.

By God's Grace

I am one of the 25% of Tibetan Buddhists who believes in God by the way.

I see myself as a mystical Christian Tibetan Buddhist.

Since Christians see Buddhism as a philosophy rather than a religion there is no conflict between Buddhism and Christianity at all for this reason.
