Sleeping only 15 minutes a night while doing Dzogchen practices and meditating almost 24 hours a day

Dzogchen is one of the highest initiations in Tibetan Buddhism. A Tibetan Lama from Rewalsar India that I met there in Rewalsar in 1986 came to Mt. Shasta and gave myself and around 100 of my friends and acquaintances Dzogchen around 1987 I believe in my friend's upstairs Music Recording studio at that time. But, this story below makes complete sense to me. However, I think it would be unlikely for western minds to do this as well as someone raised in this culture. Because we are very materialistic in the U.S. and Europe so it would be unlikely that an American or European could succeed in this way of sleeping only 15 minutes a night and being in a meditative state the rest of the time. However, it could be possible and was obviously for Chime Dolkar.

Partial quote regarding Chime Dolkar:

Chime Dolkar was an accomplished Dzogchen practitioner who is said to have remained in a meditative state throughout the day and night. She would sit upright during the night, never sleeping for more than fifteen minutes. Her daughter Kunzang Tendron remarked that her mother was thus able to keep the ashes hot through the night, relieving other family members of the responsibility.[8]
