Political Disillusionment: While he ran in the same circles as protest-era icons like Bob Dylan and Joan Baez (his sister-in-law), Fariña’s critique of politics was more cynical. He was deeply skeptical of institutional power, whether it came from the right-wing establishment or organized leftist student movements, viewing both as threats to individual freedom.end quote.
I shared Richard Farina's distrust of any government to the right or to the left always since I was 18 or 20 and saw they both weren't working very well for our democracy ongoing.
The left right seesaw I see now between extreme right and extreme left view is the ongoing destruction of our Democracy from my experiences the last 78 years too.
Governments (Democracies) need to be middle of the road and addressing everyone's needs not just segments of society like the rich or extreme liberal groups. All people need to be served which is right in the middle.
I see governments as a necessary EVIL to keep the peace so less people are murdered or run over by the Semi Trucks of life.
But, they ONLY work in the middle Not the extremes of either extreme left or extreme right.
Without this being in the middle Governments tear themselves apart and create Anarchy eventually.
This is what I think.
So, these extremes we are seeing now in government likely will produce both Anarchy and Wars the way things are presently going here in the U.S. and throughout the world.
So, I guess I'm already preparing for World War III hopefully without nuclear weapons just using Drones and Supersonic Missiles like Putin is using on civilians in Ukraine now.
So, I guess I see drones being used all over the world to the point where it might not be safe to live above ground maybe anywhere later this century because these (NO soldier wars) can go on for 100s of years the way our technologies are evolving right now.
So, just imagine no soldier wars 24 hours a day with Global Warming getting worse and worse and worse.
Will these wars kill us all? NO!
But, Global Climate changes might in combination with these wars.
