At the Lookout

My father had passed away while I was stationed at my job at the fire lookout on top of Call Mountain in Central California in 1985. I had seen my Uncle Tommy come into my lookout as a spirit and I asked him why he was there. He looked at me and then I knew he was coming to take my father to heaven with him.

So, since I was off duty (12 hours on and 12 hours on stand by) I could call my father or make dinner or go to sleep or whatever I wanted to do unless I was needed for something and they I would be either called or radioed for instructions. So, physically I was 40 feet up from the top of Call Mountain in a Fire lookout and could see about 25 to 50 miles in all directions on a clear day. And in the Spring when I first came on Duty usually in May (May through October) depending upon the weather I would often see the snow capped peaks of the Sierras towering up to 14,000 feet with Mt. Whitney across the wide valley from me about 200 miles away by car and likely 100 as the crow flies.

During the 1/2 week I was gone from home my wife would run our business for me 6 months a year while I had this job for the State of California as a Fire Lookout. So, when Uncle Tommy came to me I said to him, "Tommy. I haven't seen you in a long time. What are you doing here?" And his silence had me call my father to tell him his brother was coming for him. So, I called my Dad on the phone and told him, "Dad. Tommy is coming for you. You need to look for him!" Dad said,"I don't feel very well, Freddie. I'll talk to you later." I hung up the phone glad I could prepare my father for his passing.

5 hours later my mother called and told me Dad had passed away in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. I told her the story of Tommy and we both cried together because she loved Tommy at least as much as she loved my Dad. Also, Mom was also spiritually gifted like me and often saw angels and Masters like Jesus. So, in the beginning she helped teach me how to use my gifts when I was a child from babyhood on.

Now, it was about October 1985 and Dad had passed on in August 1985. I was at the lookout on the last couple of weeks before I went off duty for 6 months for the winter and early spring when the 10 miles of dirt roads might be impassable by even a good 4 wheel drive like mine (I had a 1974 International Harvester Scout II 4WD with a Locking Rear end for extra traction if you needed it)

On this particular day the most powerful form of Vajrasattva (which means Diamond Vow) which is the Tibetan Buddist highest Buddha or Diety that is in the physical universe. I think he and his consort Nyema would be what I would call God of the physical universe except they are the Highest Buddhas in a different Pantheon. Anyway, Vajrasattva came to me and said, "You are going to leave for India on December 10th this year."

I got off duty and went home to my wife and said, "Vajrasattva came to me and told me I'm going to India this year on December 10th". My wife said, "How are we going to do that?" She didn't question me because often God told me things just before they happened so this wasn't unusual for her. She just didn't see how this would be possible. I said, "I don't know how it will happen but if it is that important we will be shown how to do it."

Within one month of this the money came from her inheritance that we didn't know about at the time. At first we thought about buying another 2 1/2 acres of land but we already had one on Mt.  Shasta that I had already built an A-Frame on that we lived in from about 1980 to 1985 off and on depending upon the weather because we could get up to 7 feet of snow there at one time during the winters.

So, finally I said to her, "Maybe this is what Vajrasattva was talking about maybe we are supposed to take this money and go to India with it?"

So, we went to a local travel agency and it was just way too expensive for us to go. So we gave up the idea. Later, my mother was visiting and a friend who used to work on the Berkeley Barb during the 1960s wanted us to visit haight-Ashbury where things were happening when he was young in the 196ºs. So, we all went up there and walked (about 10 of us) down Haight Street in San Francisco while listening to our friend reminisce about his youth in the 1960s in Berkeley and San Francisco.

While walking along there my mother spied a travel agency that had a sign in the window that said, "275 dollars for one week in Waikiki". This just seemed like something fake because it was too cheap so I went into the travel agency with her to protect her because she was in her late 60s or early 70s.

But, walking in there I started to realize that this was a very specialized kind of Travel agency that catered to College students and researchers all over the world who had a lot of time but not much money to accomplish their goals. So, instead they specialized in what is called "Discount tickets" which meant that you could buy a ticket that you would use within a 6 month window for example. You weren't concerned about your exact departure date or your exact return date. So, I asked the man, "How much for 5 tickets to Kathmandu, Nepal with a 6 month stay possible?"
The man said, "$5000 if you leave before December 11th." I looked at my wife and bought the tickets right then. We were routed through Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong if we wished, and Kathmandu, Nepal. We then realized that we had enough to go as well as to pay my wife's sister to run our business and make our car payments while we were gone. And that when we ran out of money we would fly back whenever we wished to the U.S.

So, because of this we had an experience of a lifetime because Vajrasattva told me when to go to India. We eventually went to Boghgaya, India to meet a Tibetan Lama who was a friend of ours from Santa Cruz, California and we happened upon the Kalachakra Initiation given to 500,000 people as well there. We had not idea about it at all but our Lama friend quickly signed us up for the initiation into the Shambala mandala. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life as well as traveling later to Benares (It has a newer name now) and to Dharamshala, India where the Dalai Lama lives where I went to see Ling Rinpoche who had run Tibet until the Dalai Lama was 18. At that time Ling Rinpoche, a Very accomplished Tibetan Lama had been sitting on a table for one or two years meditating there without decomposing. When I went into the room I felt him projecting back from a heaven realm blessings. What I experienced there was somewhat similar to what I experienced when going to see where Saint Catherine was a 160 Rue Du Bac in Paris. It was unbelievably spiritually powerful in a way that is so far beyond most experiences that there are not words to even properly describe it. Both places completely interfaced heaven realms with the physical world for me. So, literally being in heaven and earth simultaneously was my experience. However, maintaining the right state of consciousness when experiencing this can be sort of difficult unless you are a little child who is innocent still. Because you have to leave your senses sort of open in order to receive the blessings and still make sure you are protected as well because of still living on Earth.
