What happened is that the government covered people like big automakers but not the average person. What happened? People lost everything in the middle class once houses went underwater which means they were worth less than the loans people had on them which gave people no reason to pay those loans and it was better to go bankrupt instead which millions did. This was because the government covered big corporations but not the workers so they were destroyed. Then they got angry at losing their homes and voted in Trump in revenge for this. This is what actually happened. Trump is the revenge of the middle class on government in General and has almost completely destroyed our democracy from the anger of this betrayal of the working class in America.
So, this time the Democrats want the workers covered too or they won't sign onto this bill.
