Bison: (Buffalo) kill and injure more people in the U.S. than any other animal

The reporter's reaction to the Buffalo (Bison) likely saved his life. Why?

Because Buffalo are very very territorial and the Alpha males of the herd will take down wolves, bears, mountain lions or whatever confronts them. Remember, these animals have been surviving anything that confronts them without man for thousands and thousands of years or more before man was ever here in the U.S.

So, their technique of dealing with humans is the same way they deal with anything else. First they use their head and horns to knock someone or some animal down and then they rise up on their rear feet and stomp them to death with their weight on their front hooves.

You do NOT ever want to confront a male Buffalo or a female buffalo with a baby EVER  if you don't want to be maimed or die. They are not Cows. They are wild! And they will kill you if you confront them or their herd.
