As I was waking up this morning (which is the best time for intuitive thought because you are with God during your night's sleep) I realized that the likely way Ebola would make it's way to Europe (if it did) would be through uneducated Boat people trying to escape Ebola in North Africa by moving to Europe for a better life.
The flu like symptoms would show up during the trip to Europe and by the time they reached Europe the whole boat could be infected. This actually is a much more likely scenario than the virus flying to Europe and creating a pandemic that way because it would be less educated and more superstitious people who actually might be more likely to bring it to the western world in this way.
If it came to Europe or the U.S. by air the most likely way would be through health care workers working with Ebola victims in Africa returning home to their native countries.
