The one true statement I found in the last article was that Russia is bombing women, children and the elderly, because fighters protect their women and children in Syria by living with them, otherwise they would all be killed by the Syrian army. The same is true for ISIS. This is the problem that the U.S. and NATO face too. The U.S. and NATO don't kill Al Baghdadi (the leader of ISIS) or his officers much because they surround themselves with their women, their children, their elderly and their sex slaves and other slaves. So, if you kill them you kill all the rest like Russia is now doing to democracy advocates who are Sunnis fighting Assad.
So, the main reason Russia and the Syrian Army are making progress at saving Assad is because 75% or more of the people they are killing with cluster bombs are women, children and the elderly. This is what is actually happening on the ground.
However, it must be noted that Saudi Arabia is also killing 75% women and children and the elderly in Yemen as well who are in Shiite Houthi Neighborhoods.
So, in the end the only real difference here is Shiites are dying in Yemen from Saudi Cluster bombs and Sunnis are dying in Syria from Russian Cluster bombs and on both war fronts 75% of those killed are women and children and the elderly.
And on both sides there likely there is little to no medical care available or clean water so almost any injury can cause people eventually to die of an infection because the water isn't clean enough to do much good unless it is boiled first.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
