This is what people around the world have to realize. Governments are nice to have especially one like ours here in the U.S. Soldiers protecting your country and police protecting you city is nice too. But, when you get attacked if you cannot defend yourself right then, then you are usually either maimed for life or dead right then.
This is reality. Thinking police or soldiers are going to be able to protect you is stupid because likely they will be miles away if and when you get attacked. Feeling secure because police or soldiers are miles away is stupid. You have to protect yourselves. People who don't think this way just eventually wind up disillusioned, maimed or dead in the end.
Come out of your fantasies. If things go wrong the only one that will protect you is you. If you don't you will either be maimed or dead. However, that might be what you wish for anyway. Otherwise, defend yourselves.
