My wife's cousins son was traveling the U.S. after his first year of college in a computer science major on the east coast, showed me how to use "Air Drop" to move 21,000 photos that I had been struggling to move from my old 2009 Macbook pro to my newer one from 2015 that I bought in 2016. It only took 6 hours to move 21,000 photos from my old Macbook to my newer one so I was pretty impressed what you could send through my local Wifi between macbook pros one 2009 and one 2015.
So, if you have a lot of photos or data to move between macbook pros or Imacs and macbooks or other Imacs you might check into how to move this data through "Air Drop".
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
