But, that's mostly because I like whatever privacy I can maintain more than most people who haven't been computer programmers and who understand computers and technology at the level that I do.
So, many people are ignorant of the consequences of not better protecting themselves, their children and their grandchildren and friends from the unscrupulous worldwide.
If you have too many devices observing you (as in a smart home) you have no privacy. People are watching through the cameras in your smart phones, Ipads, laptops and computer cameras which on many devices are on all the time. Even your private conversations often can be heard wherever you are through your smart phone by anyone who has access to the technology. And in some devices even if batteries or AC electrical connections are removed with devices turned off still they are monitoring you through your phone microphones and cameras. To understand all this is helpful to your ongoing physical and financial survival through the years.
Not realizing all this is constantly taking place is to jeopardize your lives and financial futures worldwide.
