Political Correctness (or the lack of Free Speech) caused Trump to be elected. How?
By forcing everyone on public college campuses to have only ONE view which is a politically correct one.
Even though political correctness might stop wars it also causes many problems. It is sort of like trying to live in a Disneyland when the rest of the world is not Disneyland or never will be.
It weakens our nation in many ways because it allows backlashes and creates demagogues like Trump to win who are liars.
Political Correctness is a lie that we want to believe in. Trump is a reaction to the lie of political correctness.
Free Speech allows all points of view to be represented from the best to the worst and then the best points of view will tend to win out over time.
Political Correctness is the Suppression of Free Speech and that creates Trumps, Hitlers, Stalins, and other dictators. Not understanding this dynamic is terrifying to the world on many different levels.
We all might want something to be true, but pretending it is true when it is not doesn't cause something to be true it just makes everyone live a lie! And lies are what Trump is best at!
