It won't really matter who is president because without a strong middle Class Democracies don't work at all and authoritarian states tend to prevail instead.
So, the 4th technological revolution is distressing the middle Classes of the world in an extreme way right now.
Why aren't more people aware of this?
Likely because companies like Tesla hire no line workers and just start out from the beginning with robots instead completely. This is how this will be done. Newer companies NEVER will hire people on the line working at all and these newer companies will replace older more traditional ones with union line workers until all the old factories are completely gone. Understanding this helps people understand how our democracy is threatened by the 4th technological revolution.
You will notice that the ONLY thing CNN and Fox and MSNBC ever talk about is Trump and how bad Trump is in the case of CNN and MSNBC or how good Trump is in the case of Fox. This partisan show of force is only a "SMOKE SCREEN" really for all the damage Global Warming is doing along with the Damage to the world's work force through the 4th Technological revolution.
It is logical to me that in many countries those that lose their middle class jobs now will self destruct through alcohol or drugs because they won't be able to replace these middle class jobs in the future with something else.
We are in the beginning of the biggest single change to humanity since the 1st and 2nd and 3rd industrial revolutions right now and God Help us!
