This was one of the most interesting Characters that Heinlein wrote about. Lazarus Long is a methuselah in that he lives several thousand years through many different things. It is interesting in how Heinlein depicts this character to me because it is likely (because of retroactive time travel and the advancements of medical science that this is the direction that some people's lives likely are going to go in during the next 500 to 1000 years here on earth.
