If Iran has 139 confirmed cases of Coronavirus with 19 deaths so far this a 13% fatality rate for Iran.
However, it is much more likely that there are just many more cases than Iran is aware of to make full sense of these numbers.
If you have 19 deaths and this is 2% of the total of cases then likely 1% would be 9.5 cases. If you then multiply this figure by 100 you get the actual number of cases which would be 950 cases. So, likely there are at the very least 839 people that the government doesn't know about with this virus in Iran or more right now. So, in Iran this is likely now an uncontrolled pandemic like in Italy.
