We are not protected like we were during the Obama Administration from things like the Coronavirus. In fact, the main Chair the government had to protect against things like the coronavirus
doesn't even exist anymore and funds to protect the public have been siphoned to build the wall next to Mexico instead.
So, as a direct result only the CDC itself is left to protect the public with inadequate funds because of Trump's neglect of dealing with Pandemics in general now. So, although we are much better prepared than say Italy is to deal with all this. That might not be saying much.
