I took the present number of deaths worldwide and divided them into 7.8 billion which is the number of people on earth in 2020 to get this figure (so far).
Depending upon your demographic (age group and health) your risk could exceed this. However, if you take the world's population 7.8 billion and divide it by the 6500 deaths you get the title of this article which is the average person's chance of dying from coronavirus (at least so far).
