Realizing that you are a Dragon?

In Native American spiritual teachings I studied with a Medicine man (who is still alive by the way) in the earl1980s until 1983. At the early points I related to being like a "Flying Eagle" in how I saw things which would be important because birds (especially Eagles) are messengers between the Earth and Heaven. The plains Indians also call "God" Wakon Tonka or "The Great Spirit that moves with the Wind across the plains" or something like that depending upon the medicine man or Tribe there.

Now in my life I relate to being like a Golden Dragon Spirit as well as a Grizzly Bear or Bear spirit because I'm a different person than I was in 1980 to 1983. I was a young father then and now I am a Grandfather too twice over. So, I'm very different now in how I perceive reality from then.

In 1983 I did a Vision Quest along the South Fork of the Trinity River near Eagle Cliffs which is a few miles from "River Spirit" which is a back woods commune that I think is still going on started by "Earthworm" and some of his friends likely in the 1960s or 1970s I think. I spoke with Earthworm after he left River Spirit and went to India and lived there a couple of years and he had Maori tattoos on his face then when I met him at Horse Camp on Mt. Shasta. He is a very interesting person from a wealthy family originally who was a trust fund kid who invested in the commune River Spirit by Buying land for a lot of his friends to live on and to grow their own food. But, eventually he moved onto other things in his life after being there I think for around 20 years or so at River Spirit with his friends.

So, when I did my vision quest with the medicine man that lived a few miles away west from there down the river at Eagle Cliffs where he built a house for his wife and two boys my vision quest was in a Bear Wallow alongside the river about a mile or more upriver from Eagle Cliffs. There were no roads within about a mile (even dirt then) where I spent 4 days eating no food and drinking no water there.

The first 2 days my mind screamed at me: "You are going to die out here!" "You cannot do this!" However, I persevered and by the 2nd night I began to have amazing visions.

The most profound vision for me was becoming a great Golden Dragon that breathed fire upon thousands of people. I was terrified because I thought they might burn up and die. But, instead they all smiled and became enlightened instead.

This has been a very prophetic vision because as a writer or as a friend or acquaintance this has been happening all along in my life where what I say to people often enlightens them in various ways always. Even just coming into the same room or driving by them in a car or walking by people often enlightens them in various ways.

So, this vision was very very prophetic in various ways leading to people's enlightenment ongoing.

By God's Grace

Note: This particular vision led me to studying with Tibetan Lamas in Oregon, California, Nepal and India, especially in Bodhgaya with the Dalai Lama and also traveling with my family to Dharamshala, India which is where the Dalai Lama lives most of the time in a Tibetan Colony in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh State of India.

By God's Grace
