A friend of mine who has 2 feet of snow out where he lives asked me about Covid symptoms now

I told him that it starts (here with the version I have had) with scratchy throat and then runny nose and then coughing over 3 days time. Then a week later I'm still coughing some. The first 3 days are the worst because you feel like you are going to die. Then it feels like you are stoned or something every day while trying to make decisions in how you are going to continue to stay alive. So, you cannot even enjoy the loaded feeling because if you do you might die. But, you really cannot worry about anything but staying alive or you won't be alive anymore.

Even our male housecleaner over did yesterday and I worried about him last night. I think he was still too sick from Covid to be able to be okay last night. So, hopefully he is okay.

Trying to work while having Covid these days could easily be fatal for people over 45 or 50 years of age.

So, if you don't want to end up in the hospital with tubes into your lungs or something you need to be staying home and keeping warm and taking care of yourself otherwise you might wind up int he hospital.

Here's the other thing.

If you are taking Amiodarone or eliquis you cannot take Paclovid because it could really harm you or actually be fatal.

However, you can take a Z-Pak or Zithromax (same thing) which is an anti-biotic which can prevent bronchitis or pneumonia from which you could potentially die (especially if you are over 45 years old.

If you have any symptoms like Scratchy throat or runny nose or coughing I highly recommend taking a Covid Test or even seeing your doctor and asking at a minimum for a Z-Pak of Antibiotics.

You take 3 tablets one each day for three days and then it should help you stay alive for up to 10 days. After 10 days (or sooner) you could get another Z-pak from your doctor if he (or she) recommends this.
