I think chuck Todd is right. Trump may already have used up his political Capital with Republicans

Especially Reagan and super conservative Republicans are really mad at Trump right now because Gaetz and Hegserth give the whole Republican party a bad name. And Hegseth roofying a married Republican lady to have sex with her isn't going to fly with Republican women either.
