I see this very differently than younger people do simply because I have seen every election since 1952 simply because I have been aware since I was 4 years old of the 13 presidents so far (14 if you include Trump twice). Parties usually get upset every time the other party gets in. But, if you look carefully at all this the actual amount of time that both parties have been in power is basically equal. And each party does some things well and some things bad. However, I'm not sure I can say this about Trump's Republican party which is more a party of absolute Chaos more than anything else. So, Trump might end Democracy for Good. But, if he does it won't be his fault it will be the fault of the American People for letting him do this. People have to fight for what they want and fight for what they believe in. It's always been this way. Unless you fight for what you want you have nothing. It's always been this way and likely always will be.
