Rain Cloud bursting now

 I couldn't figure out what I was hearing because my hearing aids often change the nature of sounds somewhat. I thought it was something in the kitchen boiling or making noise. My wife's nurse for this month  operation recovery said: "It's a cloudburst" which meant that some places nearby are going to flood who are more on the plain but where we live on a hill likely won't be affected because we are high up beyond any flood plains. However, likely many places will flood in a cloudburst like this.
