There are at least 2 versions of Covid that I have heard about right now at least in California and Oregon

I and two others got the runny nose and then cough eventually that never ends (even 1 1/2 weeks later).

Then there is the high fever with body aches version which sounds much worse.

There are 3 of us where I live on the coast that got the runny nose and cough version and then 2 others here on the coast got the high Fever with body Aches.

Then in Portland my son and his family got the Fever with body aches version.

However, if you have any of these symptoms it's good to test for covid because if you are positive you can at least take paclovid or a Zithromax pack of antibiotics to keep you from getting pneumonia or something like that.

Also, my wife said she lost her sense of taste for 24 hours. Different people have somewhat different experiences.

However, my wife and I are very grateful to have gotten our Covid Booster 3 weeks before we got Covid for the very first time.

But, you cannot take paclovid if you take Eliquis or Amiodarone or several other medicines prescribed by doctors for various ailments.

Also, my doctor says about 90% of cases with cold symptoms (at least here on the coast) are Covid. So, he tests people with cold symptoms and they almost always have Covid. Almost all test positive for Covid.

Just so you know what's happening this winter in California and Oregon. Not sure what is happening other places.
