Vaccination rates for flu and Covid are low this season, CDC says

In trying to stay alive at 76 I and my wife got our flu Shots early in August and we also got a Covid Shot three weeks before we actually got Covid for the first time in either of our lives so we consider ourselves lucky to have survived our first Covid Bought because my wife is almost 70 and I'm 76. It's nice to still be alive. I had Covid so far over 2 weeks time yesterday. I tested and was still mildly positive so likely within a couple of days I will test negative. Besides us 6 other people we know had Covid about the same time we have had it too. There are two types we have heard about. One is high Fever and aching body, the other is Runny nose and coughing. We had the runny nose and coughing version I'm still coughing some over 2 weeks later. We are going to be okay. However, if we were trying to work at a job while being this sick we would have either been in the hospital or dead. Something to think about. However, the fever version we didn't have also has coughing too.

Any cold symptoms at all (at least here on the California coast) you are likely about 90% to have Covid now in this present era whether you test or not.
