What do I think will happen the next 5 to 10 years?

The Single most important factor in all of this likely is: "How many people will starve because of Global Climate change?"

People who don't factor this into whatever decisions they make will suffer the most whether they are educated or not worldwide.

2nd to this is Trump and Putin and what they do.

This might decide whether the human race goes extinct this century or not this combination of Global Climate changes and the basic insanity of people like Trump and Putin on the world stage.

Xi is a problem too but not as much as Trump and Putin and Global Climaate changes. Why?

Because China is an economic disaster area right now mostly because of what Putin is doing and since China is an ally of Putin and North Korea they have also become an economic pariah for the whole world along with Putin and North Korea. This has collapsed the Chinese economy in a very serious way. But, Russia has always been since Putin an economic disaster area because there is no free enterprise anymore there in any real sense.

So, what will happen during the next 5 to 10 years? Climate disasters in a constantly increasing way at random around the planet complicated by Trump and Putin to the point where smaller countries governments will cease to exist if they are developing countries.

This is the likely outcome of the next 5 to 10 years.

Of course many other things will happen too but these things will decide whether the human race goes extinct this century or not.
