I think this is the first major airlines crash in the U.S. since 2009

 So, in some ways the Air Traffic Controllers have been doing a really good job regarding passenger jets.

What is amazing to me is that we went from 2009 to 2025 without a major airlines crash because the previous big crash in the U.S. was in 2001 before 2009.
